Three quick and reliable dips that will elevate any party: classic garlic, creamy guacamole, and sweet-spicy honey mustard.

If you are planning a meeting with friends, a movie night, or just fancy a delicious snack, this Trio of Homemade Dips will be an absolute hit. Forget about store-bought sauces, because preparing these three sensational options will take you literally a few moments, and the effect will delight everyone. The first star is the classic, creamy garlic dip, which perfectly matches fresh vegetable sticks and crispy chips. Its base is thick Greek yogurt, which balances the intensity of the garlic and gives it an exceptional lightness. The next option in this set is a Mexican-inspired, natural guacamole. Ripe, buttery avocado, a bit of crunchy red onion, and refreshing lime juice create a composition that is simply irresistible. It is not only a great addition to corn nachos but also a brilliant spread for sandwiches, burgers, or homemade tortillas. The third in the set is a sweet-spicy honey mustard dip, which is incredibly versatile and loved by everyone. It goes fantastically with chicken fingers, roasted potatoes, and also works well as a thick salad dressing. Each of these sauces brings a completely different flavor profile, giving your guests a fantastic choice. The Trio of Homemade Dips is a guarantee of culinary success at any home party. Remember to add lemon or lime juice to the guacamole immediately after mashing the fruit so it keeps its beautiful, vivid green color. Serve the dips in small bowls and enjoy the taste!

Ingredients

  • 2 pcs Avocado (medium size)
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
  • 0.5 pcs Red onion (finely chopped)
  • 150 g Greek yogurt (about half a cup)
  • 120 g Mayonnaise (for two dips)
  • 2 pcs Garlic (cloves)
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1
GUACAMOLE DIP: Cut the avocado in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash with a fork into a paste, leaving small chunks.
  2. 2
Immediately add lime juice, finely chopped red onion, and a pinch of salt and black pepper to the avocado. Mix everything thoroughly.
  3. 3
GARLIC DIP: In a separate bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, half of the prepared mayonnaise, and the cloves of garlic pressed through a press or very finely chopped.
  4. 4
Season the garlic dip with salt and black pepper to taste and mix until a smooth consistency is obtained.
  5. 5
HONEY MUSTARD DIP: In a third bowl, place the rest of the mayonnaise, the Dijon mustard, and the honey.
  6. 6
Vigorously mix all the ingredients until a uniform, smooth sauce is formed.
  7. 7
Chill the ready dips in the refrigerator before serving so that the flavors meld well. Serve with your favorite snacks.

Chef's Tips

  • •If you prefer spicier guacamole, you can add finely chopped jalapeño pepper or a bit of sriracha sauce to it.
  • •The garlic dip will gain an even better aroma if you add chopped fresh dill or chives to it.
  • •It's worth putting the avocado pit into the bowl with the ready guacamole – it's an old trick that supposedly helps prevent the paste from browning quickly.
