Ingredients
- 150 g Chicken breast (or chicken fillet) (about 1 small breast fillet)
- 200 g Broccoli (about ½ medium head)
- 100 g Carrot (1 medium)
- 2 tbsp Teriyaki sauce
- 10 g Garlic (2 cloves)
- 15 g Spring onion (1 stalk)
- 5.3 oz Chicken breast (or chicken fillet) (about 1 small breast)
- 7 oz Broccoli (about 2 cups florets)
- 3.5 oz Carrot (1 medium)
- 2 tbsp Teriyaki sauce
- 2 clove Garlic
- 1 tbsp Spring onion (1 stalk)
Instructions
- 1Step 1: Chop the chicken breast into small bite-sized pieces. Cut the broccoli into small florets and slice the carrot into thin rounds. Mince the garlic and spring onion.
- 2Step 2: Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add a little water or a dash of oil (if your diet allows) and lightly brown the chicken breast on all sides for about 4-5 minutes.
- 3Step 3: Add the broccoli, carrot, and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté and toss the mixture for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften slightly but still retain some crunch.
- 4Step 4: Pour in the teriyaki sauce and stir thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are coated. Let it simmer on low heat for another 2-3 minutes.
- 5Step 5: Remove the pan from the heat. Finish the dish by sprinkling fresh spring onion on top and serve immediately.
Chef's Tips
- •If you want the vegetables to be even softer, you can add a tablespoon of water to the pan and cover with a lid for a couple of minutes to steam.
- •The saltiness of teriyaki sauce varies by brand, so taste the finished dish before adding any extra salt.
