A rich and satisfying weeknight pasta where aged Brie melts into a luxurious, velvety sauce, tossed with savory minced meat and sweet bell peppers.
If you are searching for a way to transform simple pantry staples into a restaurant-quality dinner, this Gourmet Brie and Minced Meat Pasta is the ultimate comfort food experience. Often, we think of Brie as just an appetizer to be served with crackers or jam, but its rich, buttery texture makes it an absolutely phenomenal base for a creamy pasta sauce. In this Gourmet Brie and Minced Meat Pasta, the aged rind and creamy center of the cheese melt down seamlessly, coating every single noodle in a velvety, luxurious glaze.
To make this dish a complete, satisfying meal, we pair the decadent cheese sauce with savory browned minced meat and sweet, vibrant bell peppers. The meat provides a hearty, protein-packed foundation, while the bell peppers add a much-needed crunch and freshness to cut through the richness of the cheese. A dash of Italian seasoning and garlic powder brings aromatic warmth, tying the Mediterranean-inspired flavors together. Whether you are treating yourself after a long day or looking for a fast but impressive date night dinner, this Gourmet Brie and Minced Meat Pasta delivers maximum flavor with minimal effort. Best of all, it is an excellent way to use up fresh ingredients from your fridge before they go bad, combining practicality with pure gourmet indulgence.
Ingredients
- 200 g Pasta (about 2 cups dry)
- 200 g Minced Meat (about 1/2 lb)
- 100 g Brie Cheese (about 1 small wedge)
- 1 count Bell Peppers (medium, chopped)
- 80 ml Cooking Cream (about 1/3 cup)
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 0.5 tsp Salt (to taste)
- 0.5 tsp Black Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- 1Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a small splash of the pasta cooking water before draining.
- 2While the pasta is boiling, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced meat and chopped bell peppers.
- 3Cook until the minced meat is completely browned and the bell peppers begin to soften, breaking the meat apart as it cooks.
- 4Season the meat mixture with the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper, stirring well to combine.
- 5Lower the heat to medium-low. Cut the Brie cheese into chunks and add it to the skillet along with the cooking cream.
- 6Stir gently and continuously until the Brie cheese melts completely, creating a thick, bubbling, and creamy sauce.
- 7Toss the cooked, drained pasta directly into the skillet. Stir well to coat the noodles in the creamy cheese sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a tiny splash of the reserved pasta water to loosen it.
- 8Serve immediately while hot and bubbly!
Chef's Tips
- •You do not need to cut the white rind off the Brie cheese! The rind is completely edible, deeply flavorful, and will melt right into the sauce.
- •If you want a hint of heat, add a pinch of your chili flakes into the meat while it browns.
